The risks involved in buying on the black market

By buying tickets on the street or on websites not affiliated with the French Tennis Federation, you run the following risks:
1/ Tickets sold illegally are often fake or invalid and will not allow you access into the Grounds.
2/ Several internet sites never deliver your tickets to you and purchasers thus never receive their seats
3/ As it is mandatory for you to assign a name to your tickets, many people will be unable to enter the Grounds as their name does not appear on the illegally sold ticket.
4/ As these sites are not affiliated with the French Tennis Federation, no refund will be available. We would therefore be unable to help you should you encounter any problems with tickets sold on these sites.
5/ Buying tickets on the black market is against French law and therefore both the seller and the purchaser are subject to police interrogation.

We would also like to alert you to the fact that tickets sold on the black market are often sold at extreme prices often 10 or 15 times higher those set by the French Tennis Federation.

On the Internet, several websites sell French Open tickets before even the official ticket office is open. These websites are not affiliated with the French Tennis Federation. By buying these tickets, you run the risk of paying ticket prices much higher than those found on our 100% secure official sites.
